No matter what scene was played out in front of me, I was there with my camera and loving every minute of it.
I treat my clients as family and give every ounce of my being to them — and the support system surrounding them. I believe in lifting others up at any opportunity. You never know how being kind to someone in a split second can change the course of their whole day. This translates into how I run my business — as a human first, photographer second.
By Kinship was established in 2015 with a mission to protect memories and serve families as they begin, develop and grow. I love to document the big and small moments as they all come together to make up a wonderful, complex story. I started with weddings and became enamored with the honor of capturing such a monumental day. From hand squeezes to toast tears, these are all moments I feel a strong bond to. Then, after photographing a few families in traditional portrait style, I felt the same way with booger-picking children and puppy licks. I went on to discover the intimate side of family life — the good and the bad.
"She captured so many secret moments and emotions of us, friends, and family that we would have never witnessed without her! There were plenty of things that we stressed about while planning the wedding, but our pictures were not one of them. I had seen some of her work prior to booking Kinship and was confident that she would do a fantastic job, and boy did she blow us away! The photos were more beautiful than we had even imagined." — Ashley R.

"Jenny put in the time and effort to provide a tailor-fit experience for us. We never took professional photos before and she made us feel comfortable and her bubbly personality totally lightened the mood and we had such a great experience. Can’t wait for the next photo-op!"

“Photos were amazing and Jenny spent the entire day with us. So happy with everything! We would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome photographer.”
— Brian M.
"Jenny took the time to meet with me prior to our wedding day and scouted out our ceremony and reception venues to find the perfect spots for photos. We communicated a lot as the day got closer and she was very receptive to all of the moments and people that I wanted captured. She was friendly to everyone and got every photo, but also blended so well into the crowd that I sometimes forgot she was there (making for wonderful candid photos!)." — KAte D.

Moments are a crucial ingredient for reflection and should be protected, shielded from everyday chaos by all means necessary.

I want spending time with me to feel like one giant hug, and then a real one before we part.
